We try to apply our values to our own website.
It runs on Django, a mature and well-documented framework, with server-rendered pages instead of a heavy front-end application. Styling uses Tailwind CSS, compiled into a small stylesheet. There is very little JavaScript, no third-party tracking, and images are converted to WebP to keep pages light.
We also care about accessibility: semantic HTML, readable contrasts and full keyboard navigation.
The goal is simple: a site that is fast, easy to maintain and respectful of the people who visit it. If you spot something we could do better, we'd be glad to hear from you.
