"Sustainable" is easy to say and easy to stretch. For us, it means a few concrete things.
Light. Fewer scripts, optimized images and simple pages. A lighter site loads faster, works on older devices and uses less energy.
Respectful. No hidden tracking, no unnecessary data collection. If we don't need it, we don't ask for it.
Maintainable. Clear code, simple choices and good documentation, so a project can live on even when its authors move on.
Open. Open source licenses keep projects alive and let the community carry them forward.
We don't claim to be perfect. But we measure our choices against these four ideas, and we'll keep sharing what we learn along the way.
