Why open source?

Trust, longevity and collaboration are the reasons we choose to build in the open.

People sharing ideas in an open source collaboration.

We build in the open for three reasons.

Trust. When the code is public, anyone can check what a tool really does. No black boxes, no hidden behavior.

Longevity. An open project can't disappear overnight. If we stop, someone else can continue.

Collaboration. Better ideas come from more people. Open source lets users become contributors.

For users, it also means freedom: you can use our tools, adapt them to your needs and keep control of your data. Each project's license is clearly stated on its page, so you always know what you can do with it.
